Honestly the White Witch of York sounds like a pretty chill ghost. She likes to play, push children on the swings, and comfort people morning loved ones. We don't get to see the benevolent spirits as often as we should. :)

@@Doc903 I don't see why not. There's a lot of misrepresentation of witchcraft in media. Those who practice it usually follow an unspoken rule to do no harm to others, as it is believed that whatever harm or blessing you put out will return to you three fold, so people who use the craft for malicious reasons do exist, but are pretty rare.

Ooo, sleep paralysis is so scary! I used to get it frequently when I was a teenager. I’d wake up and be frozen staring to the side, where I always swore I was looking at a shadow looming over me. It would last about 10 to 20 seconds before I was able to snap out of it, pull my covers over my head, and fall back asleep. I haven’t had it in years, but I still think about it a lot. My dad committed suicide when I was 15, so I always tried to make myself feel better that like…if I really was looking at something, maybe it was just him checking up on me. I saw a TON of shadow figures for years after he died, out of the corner of my eye, peeking in doorways, etc. But I don’t see them anymore at 25. Maybe just trauma presenting itself in a weird way. The brain is really incredible. Would love to hear other people’s sleep paralysis experiences!

I've had the experiences of something pulling on my feet when I was asleep. Hard enough to awaken me. Then would have to try to fall asleep again. This happened for a long time 15 - 20 years ago. Now it doesn't happen (to my recollection) anymore. 😉Which is nice.

I got sleep paralysis once when I was about 8 months pregnant I wanted to lay on my belly so bad so I put a pillow under my knee and rolled over as far as I could so when I woke up I was almost facing to the pillow and couldn't lift up it scared me so bad I thought something was wrong with the pregnancy and ran to the hospital the doctor asked me if I had migraines because sleep paralysis seems to bother people with migraines a lot something to do with spastic blood vessels anyway about 7 months after I had the baby I got my first migraine with actual visuals colored flickering almost like Kaleidoscope colors in a ribbon pattern the shape of my eye scared me to death thought I was having a stroke unfortunately or maybe fortunately I never saw anything while I couldn't move but that's because all I could see was basically the pillow

If i'm really tired, stressed and sleep on my back, then I will get them sometimes and it is creepy and scary as hell... One time I was sleeping on my right side though, and it felt like a presence was behind me, at the left and at one point it felt like a hand on my shoulder try to pull me on me back! That was so scary And sometimes I see a dark figure. Much like one of the shadow bastards! I'm 39 and I still have them sometimes. If I have them I try so hard to snap out of it!

@@lyndavis113 Oh, the migraine connection is so interesting! I get migraines and I have a huge issue with motion sickness, both of which supposedly correlate. I wonder if seeing shadows is just another migraine oddity? (One of my migraine oddities is that sometimes just my upper lip tingles. I had no idea that was a migraine until the neurologist told me so. There’s so much we don’t know about it!)

I can only clam one strange experience there standing in "The Bloody Wheatfield" where all the sounds around me became very muffled/quiet. However I had the pleasure of chatting with one of the reenactors who lives in the area around the battlefield and she said all the locals have stories, and frequently you can hear battle sounds emanating from the battlefield as well as frequently seeing lights at night and such was interesting stuff.

As for the car going backwards in neutral up a hill, the ghost adventures crew have investigated one like it before and it was just and downhill section looking like it went uphill, so might be a similiar thing, but thats just a theory

It must be some kind of double hill in the road, one not as obvious as the first since you can roll forward in neutral, then hit another hill by the tree and roll backward to the base of the hill behind you.

Lol I had the same thing when I was younger. We had possessed portrait and it was in my bedroom. Parents didn't believe me but after crying about taking it away they moved it to their bedroom. I was OK since after...and my parents 1 week later sold this portrait :-) Believe or not-it happened. And we never talked again about this thing. Some things are better when left in the past.

My companion was on the road riding a bicycle near to his town, in a neighborhood, in Utah. He was on the same side of the street as the cemetery there. He looked down the road ahead... By the outside of the cemetery fence was a black or a dark shadow crouched ... before he was even close, he turned away for a split-second when riding his bicycle home in the direction of the cemetery -- the being was GONE! Happened over 20 years ago. In the middle of the night. 😮Creepy as all-get-go. I told him it was a demon. He figured that. 😉
