I just got the same one but the 27.5 model on chain reaction for £949, it’s a beautiful bit of kit for the money to! And honestly it’s such a nice ride!!

The problem with bike testers is (a) they do NOT want to upset the bike manufacturer, or they will no longer get a bike to test! (b) they usually get the highest spec bike that no one can afford 😊 i bought a bike once on the back of a review from a mtb magazine; won’t make that mistake again.

Cheers Dylan. This is my bike and I wouldn’t normally share an opinion until I’ve had time to let any issues come to the surface. In this instance as it’s an uncomplicated bike and a great spec for the money at sale prices so I’m comfortable sharing my opinion while it presented such a bargain.

I looked at this but it was out of stock when I went back. Plumped for a Ragly Bigwig steel hard tail instead which was a similar deal, looking forward to getting out it

I rushed the edit and the review as it looked like stock was getting low. The ragley will be an awesome bike!! Love the thin tubes on the steel hardtails!

I got this one for $1100 US and I absolutely love it as my only bike for now. I might get a Reactor or a Mega later on, but for now the Scout just rips.

I got a 27.5 for £999 in XL. It went as low as £949. However its back up in price again now.

Yeah they seem to have crept back up but not full price. Seem to have the larger sizes still in the scout and there’s some ragleys and vitus at good money.💰

Curious about your fork’s rebound settings for this ride. Planning on riding something similar in the not too distant future. Any insight will be much appreciated.

Hmmm.. good question. I’ll have to check that for you over the weekend. It’s the first marzochi I have owned. I tend to run fairly fast (open) rebound.

So I adjusted the fork rebound two clicks faster from the middle. Behaved really well on rocky and technical descents, as well as the smoother single track with multiple rock gardens. Love the bike even more now!

@trtek23 Definitely 130mm on this model confirmed by my own measurement and the nukeproof website. The Race spec has a 140mm Rockshox, the elite has a 140mm fox 34 and the RS has a 150mm Pike. I measure when it arrived as I kinda hoped the 130mm was an error in the listing and I would get a 140mm fork. I can assure you it’s not on 2.6 tyres. Thanks for watching!

i've just picked up the 275 model and that has 2.6 and 140mm, 29er has shorter travel and narrower tyres.

Hey man. According to the size chart I should be on a medium but the large is spot on. The reach figure on the large is shorter than my full suspension so defo better to go up a size by modern geo standards. Your height says Xl but again your close to the Xxl on the chart so i would go for it pal - great bike! 👍
