@@Reddzion Or he came running because the house was rumbling... it was the start of an earthquake from what I read, the camera was likely sturdily fixed to the wall so it moved with the house and it sounded like stuff was shaking in the corner that we couldn't see.

@@patrickimperial579 not so unfortunately. It is believed that having pets such as a dog or cat even more, are protecting beings from the "unseen". Just example look at the Egyptians on how they viewed cats and dogs as. All negative that can happen around us, being negative spirits, bad vibes even the animals absorbe and protect us at a certain level of it. That is why in places like such, eventually the dogs or cats, more dogs, tend to get sick earlier and pass away even from illnesses that aren't explained. I had a dog and he would all of a sudden Yelp out of nowhere when I used to live in a home that was not hunted, per say, but there were some nasty entities that did hurt my boy. I took him to the vet to make sure and Vet found nothing of all the tests done on him that would cause sudden yelp. Maybe something internal that was going on made him yelp? nothing! all well. Unfortunatelly, when he hit age 11 his heart started to have complications where he never had problem before. A year later no matter what I did , how many tests, treatment I did on him, he passed away on the way to the emergency clinic in my car as I was driving. Back then, The more I realized I started to see and it seemed like someone or something had "kicked him" cause right after that he would cower. I did my own evp's and video recordings. Yep, there was something there for sure not nice. I got pissed and did huge cleansing of that home. Not something that is to be taken lightly nor as a game. If you are the complete skeptic type, fair enough. But, I do believe cause I myself have had several experiences that if anyone would tell me, maybe I would not believe about these things. But living them that's another story. I'm a bit skeptic on things specially if it's paranormal stuff myself, but I don't close my mind either to other possibilities and I do my own search. This world is very interesting and why not? There are many things that we still don't know about or even understand. I'm not saying either that all we see on YT about "spirits' is true, but being skeptic with open mind, doesn't hurt

Actually the dog is acting as "protection" for them. What can a dog do to a spirit? Nothing physically but spiritually talking the dog himself is keeping that entity from harming his owners. Now this is something it's believed to happen, even more with Cats. Those who consider themselves "witches" having cats is not uncommon, specially black ones where unfortunately there is a HUGE misunderstanding regarding black cats that are seen as "evil or bad luck" when in reality it's the other way around. It's interesting if one takes time to research on how animals relate with the afterworld and us humans on that aspect.

Hey Ben, I know you often joke about places being built on burial grounds,especially here in the US, but it's actually often true! With there being no laws about digging up bodies during construction until 1979, early settlers would use native bones to mark out their newly claimed (stolen) property,& later in the 1900s construction crews would just throw remains away so there are thousands of burial grounds & old cemeteries that have been desecrated or built on! It's pretty nuts!

Since I live nearby, I thought I would add something of interest about Jefferson, Texas. Across the street diagonally from The Jefferson Hotel is The Excelsior House, the oldest hotel in Texas. Quite a few prominent people through history have stayed there such as Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, and Oscar Wilde. In the early 1980s Steven Spielberg stayed in the "Jay Gould Room" (room 215) and was so frightened he wasn't able to endure the whole night. Supposedly some entity had thrown his briefcase back at him and he heard the voice of a young boy ask what he wanted for breakfast. He ended up leaving with the entire film crew in the dark hours of the morning to stay at a Holiday Inn instead. Soon after in 1982 he made the film "Poltergeist."
