OMG we just went over nul(A), col(A), rank(A) today in class. So cool!

Hello. Instructive video indeed. Thank you very much.

Sorry; but, i have a question: ¿where did you prove that the Rank(A)=Rank(A') where A' it's a row reduced matrix? I have been searching that video and i can't find it. I will be so thankful if you can tell me where is it. Great video.

@@ElDiarioLudita I just liked Watamote a lot, so I was surprised to see a tomoko kuroki pfp on a linear algebra video

The row-space! col(A^{T}) (I bet that's coming soon haha) Dr. Peyam, what is a polylogarithm?! I have no idea and cant figure it out. I know that's unrelated but still haha maybe a good excuse for a video in the future. Thank you!!!

No idea either! Hahaha

@@drpeyam It's in reference to this integral which I thought would be easy but apparently require a poly-logarithm function?? www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=%5Cint_%7B0%7D%5E%7B1%7D+%5Cfrac%7Blog%28x%2B1%29%7D%7Bx%5E2%2B1%7D+dx Thank you Dr. Peyam, best wishes!

Your A' is not the rref of A. I'm not sure where the mistake was, but the was one somewhere.

Possibly

@@drpeyam Great content, but yes, the correct A' (rref of A) would be: [1, 0, 0, 0, 1/5], [0, 1, 0, 3, -13/30], [0, 0, 1, 2, -1/3]] Consequently, column 2 is not linearly dependent (4:41). And column 5 is linearly dependent. And the basis of the nullspace of A are not those shown in this lesson (29:23), but this: [ 0] [-3] [-2] [ 1] [ 0] and [ -1/5] [13/30] [ 1/3] [ 0] [ 1]
