It’s tough because I have to play reeeeeeaaally quietly due to my shit neighbor. I prefer to belt my vocals, but I can’t sing the way that best suits my voice in my own home at the moment. Hopefully I’ll be able to afford to set up a better recording environment for myself soon so I can put together my best performances.

Damnit. Every original song has that dim-on-one-side-bright-on-the- other sort of quality that I find almost overwhelmingly attractive, so much so that I'm temped to complain about the songs not being long enough. Cory!!! Common powerful boy.

@CoryLottSucks6 жыл бұрын
Pado 6 That’s awesome! Also, I love that you explained where the Andes mountains are. I know I’m an American but I do have a decent grasp of the world’s geography lol.
@padiyanki6 жыл бұрын
Its a region an a continental mountain, it extends from north to south america and pass trough seven countries, Venzuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. There is a lot of subgenres of music that comes from that region, in Colombia (where i come from) there is: guabinas, bambucos, pasillos, torbellinos, rajaleñas, etc. And the other countries that i metioned have many others subgeneres. Those subgenres have in common that they are the result of mixing folk european music, tradional indegenous music and, in some cases, african music. If you want to explore look for: Gentil Montaña (Colombia), Atahualpa Yupanki (Argentina), Violeta Parra (Chile), Garzón y Collazos, Natalia Lafourcade (contemporary andino music), Chancha Vía Circuito (experimental andino). Sorry for my english, is not too good.

Idk if you’re also a songwriter but if you are, do you know that feeling when you write a super simple chord progression and just think “how have I not heard this somewhere before?” Because that’s exactly how writing this one felt. Specially the Em to Gmaj7 with the high harmonic chime.
