I can tell you that after living in Germany for almost 5 years while i was in the Army that this is a GREAT example of a majority on the "German Metal Scene". Germany has for the most part been forward thinking when it comes to metal music. They have a great understanding of the direction they are wanting to go and more importantly they know how the best way is to get to that destination. Elli is such a beautiful and gifted artist, as well as the entire band for that matter! I feel safe in saying that Germany is far ahead of the American Metal in so many ways and i think that is in no small part due to how the Germans view Metal music in general. Its more widely accepted there as it is here and the culture is embraced more there if we are being honest.

You just made my day... You´re so kind. I love what you say! The set was improvised, it´s an empty attic in the neighborhood, the props were all built in one night by the make-up artist ( the Lady in white...she smeared yogurt on her skin and let it dry...ha ha ha) and the costumes are simply our clothes....ha ha ha...But it´s due to a great camera operator and editor that it all looks quite remarkable...I mixed the song at home and it sounds horrible, but for some funny reason over a small speaker system, it has a certain energy. I´m the producer and this song was so early stage of Null Positiv, I even had to act in the video, because there was yet no band. It was zero degrees Celsius and a lot of fun!!! Great memory.

Null Positiv are such a fantastic band and at the same time so nice and friendly guys. At the same time they are perfect "models" for concert photogrpahers like me. Their -much to short- set at M'era Luna festival gave me so many great shots.

On the German music thing, kinda in a way? Germany after having been through two world wars and then both an American and a Soviet occupation had a lot of emotions to work through. Part of this cumulated into Neue Deutsche Härte/New German Hardness, a blend of hard rock, industrial and dance. The big poster boy for this genre is Rammstein but it's part of a larger cultural movement. So is all German music hard? No not at all but there is a significant cultural sphere where it is. There's a lot of good hard German music if that's your thing. Something less German and more Swedish would love to see you two react to Arch Enemy - Nemesis live at Wacken 2016.

Null Positiv is the hardest I listen to (right now... just spreading my wings with the harder female fronted metal bands)...I suggest their Kallops or Term de Angst if you want to rock out some more. My other favorites are Beyond the Black, Nightwish (y'all know), Delain and Within Temptation. These bands are more symphonic metal. I love y'alls band too!
