Most unappreciated world record ever. How could somebody dislike this?

damn.... watching it in slowmo, perfect finesse and no wasted movements at all... perfect decision making in that speed
@Xealous8 жыл бұрын
Actually, his stacking is pretty dreadful tbh (though this is normal for most 40L records. Terrible stacking). His finesse is on point though.
@scj14208 жыл бұрын
Well yeah tbf his goal is not efficiency but having the least amount of hesitation... I'd say his decision making is perfect for the goal he was trying to achieve (which is to be fast).

The trick os to move and stop right on the spot you want it and quickly move it to the other direction. It snags on other peices and doesn't move.
@bryanivyfilms6 жыл бұрын
Quick question that's actually legitimate; Do you blink while playing? Cause at this level, you would think that blinking, even though it's a quick movement, would slow you down.
@MicroBlizz6 жыл бұрын
I don't blink
@j-k-l47565 жыл бұрын
I think the adrenaline, even though he probably does this every day but having a good start makes it I guess, is a pretty big factor for this and not blinking, also, at this speed you don't need to blink, that is 17 seconds

How do you position the pieces that quickly? Like I play nes tetris and there’s no realistic way to get the pieces to the left and right like that
@Cunt1436 жыл бұрын
NES Tetris doesn't let you move left and right that fast
@honeypower5 жыл бұрын
Something called das which appears on new versions of Tetris especially multiplayer. Nes Tetris didn't have this, and was lacking a lot of modern features.
@aidanhennessey55865 жыл бұрын
James ok yeah we have das in nes tetris too it’s just that it’s 10 rows/sec which is way way way slower than this
@honeypower5 жыл бұрын
@@aidanhennessey5586 Oh hmm yes, I think you're right. Maybe das is not the right word...I should have said das/arr modification or "tuning" to use the right term is what modern Tetris games have. Basically they let you in increase the das and arr values much higher than what they would be on nes Tetris by default. I think most pros play with 80ms-120ms das whereas on nes Tetris it's probably at 300 or something but I have no idea. Been years since I played it.

Wumbo could never do this if he dedicated his life to it because hes not good at anything but 4w

lol wumbo may abuse c4w but he’s still a top player even w/o it
@Viralsome3 жыл бұрын
Wumbo is def a very good player, although 4w seems to be his one trick, and when he’s facing very top players he can’t just steamroll them like usual
@sapphirebulletbill7 жыл бұрын
That moment when you slow down the game. And then play the replay in full speed. You can do that in NullpoMino.

Sapphire Bullet Bill Educate yourself before you make assumptions, kid.
@Eichro6 жыл бұрын
I don't know the game but I'm assuming that playing it slowed down doesn't alter in-game statistics. If so, piece/sec ratio hovers around 5 and 6 which matches the footage. (And the ingame time as well)
@inv41id6 жыл бұрын
>i'm not making assumptions >here are my assumptions wait wut But seriously, think about it for a second. He is placing about 6 pieces per second and each piece takes about 4 keystrokes. 12 keystrokes per second mostly distributed over 5 different fingers isn't really that hard to achieve for anyone. The limit here isn't physical; it's mental.
