No strictly an analog mixer. The only way a computer comes into play is when you use the sound card witch comes up as 2 inputs, Left and Right. And one master record output. No MIDI control.

It has 2 Outputs Left and Right RCA's and Left and Right XLR. So 2 outputs = 2 amplifiers yes.

Yes, only to send audio to it, 1 Stereo Channel, and It can record the master output.

Hello Hugo.... Couple questions bud.... Just picked this M6 ... so my turntables RCA'a go into the Numarks phono "in's" like a normal mixer... my confusion is the OUTPUTS... I know one set of masters go to my amp... the USB out goes into my laptop.... so my phono channels (1 & 2) automatically (internally) go through channel to enable a digital "out" to record...?Thanks bud....

The USB out is a copy of whatever is coming out of your master output. So if you can hear your record through the master output, it should be coming out of the USB out.

You can use it with a 1/8th to RCA for one channel and use USB for another channel. Any more and you'll need a soundcard.

I use this for DJing, I use Traktor, and use an input on the mixer for my iPad running Traktor, and a sample app. and nope no MIDI, just an analog mixer.

It only has one USB stereo channel input, Channel 3 on the mixer. And all 4 channels get mixed down to one stereo output on the USB output.

Hi. I have a Numark M6 and i would like to use it with Traktor in my Macbook. When i connect it with the USB, i can only control de Channel 3. How can i do it to assign each Traktor deck to each Channel on my mixer? Is that possible or i have to buy a sound card? Thank you and sorry for my english.

Matt Fitzgibbon Yes you could use the mixer as an output through the built-in USB sound card. And control traktor using thr S2

Unless you have an Audio 4 DJ, or any 4 out soundcard, but the Numark M6 by itself will not have that ablity.
