I bought it because of this video and I absolutely love it. I use it for weddings etc and it’s perfect. And I love playing at house parties or at home and it’s so good for house music. I’d give it a hard 8.

Should’ve included a DVS for this price, especially being a Numark too. Traktor kontrol s4 mk3 is around the same money and has DVS and motorised jog wheels

Thanks for review, but what you mean "can't plug in extra cdj-s" ? There is at least one line in in-put. Do you mean the effects can't be applied to that cdj or you can't even hear it at all?

I think not, but its better that way you will need to practice beatmatching snd in no time you will be an expert at it

Torn between the ns6ii because it has digital display in the jog wheels and is DVS upgradable amd has connection for two turntables.for price of £699.but the nvll could be the one am better off getting do for in the bedroom and summer barbecues in back garden.struggling at the mo.dont know what to do.lol

Biggest strength of the NVII is the ability to close the laptop and really just focus on the unit via screens. If that doesn't matter to you, I think the NS6II may ultimately be better featured (and have better build quality)

Both are good but find if I take my eye off the cross fader or jog wheel when am.practicing or learning to scratch i lose were am upto.with the ns6ii having display in the jog wheel this could be a better option.lol.

With the NVII you have the waveform display, basically impossible to drop a beat in the wrong place when scratching. The NS6II platter displays are ok but too small/low-res to be accurate for REALLY good scratch reference - nothing compared to Pioneer CDJ platter screens for example which are very high-res and you can rely on for very accurate drops

Do i have to connect a computer to this dj controller to play music? Can i just connect my flashdrive to this Dj controller and it play music. If not can you recommend a DJ controller that offers similar features that would allow me to use a flash drive to play muisc

@@mama_feng No. It's a controller, not a mixer, so it needs a computer. With the screens though, you can put the laptop aside or even close it if your laptop can run like that.

Definitely. Not much has changed in the midrange market. If you've got the extra £££'s I'd probably consider Pioneer DDJ800 if you're happy with 2-channel mixing. Also, consider the Numark NS6II which I think I'm going to go for. It doesn't have the screens but the jog wheels and knobs are larger and it supports DVS. Numark 6II is a solid metal unit too and will last years. Not much difference in price either as I think the NS6II is only around £50.00 more.

I owned one of these and it was glitchy as fuck. I had it for a few months during the pandemic beginning and it was a pos. I swnt it back it was so bad. I also have the ns6 and it was the same way didn't play wav files well froze up a lot the pause and play kept stopping all the time.

Sorry to hear that. I've had mine for about 9 months now, and it's been great the whole time. I only had one problem with it once, somehow, split mode wasn't working on my headphones, but I think that was Serato being weird, because I restarted Serato and it was fine.

Anytime this has happened to me it was due to poor laptop performance. I bought a Mac and its ran flawlessly since.
