I really like how it's different from others being bagged. Nothing wrong with bagless, but every Numatic vac needs to have a bag😀 Only thing what I quite wonder why they didn't use chevron style brush roll where the brushes direct dirt to the central suction path. Now it's a spiral shape and other side of the brush roll spins the dirt instead of sucking it up. But overall this looks promising 👌
@parwaz78612 жыл бұрын
Yep! The spiral brushes pushed large debris to one side of the floortool, I agree a chevron design would be much better to allow dirt to get picked up quicker

bagless is rubbish as the filters need constant cleaning which many do not do. Emptying is also not good for those with allergies, and most do not empty their bagless outdoors
@SeaUsername2 жыл бұрын
actually theres a lot wrong with bagless, its a filthy job emptying them and the filters have to be cleaned regularly. But bagless is the fashion and is 'cool' so we have this bagless crap imposed on us, thankfully Henry do vacuums with bags. Good point about the chevron style though, never thought of that.

A cordless bagged vac. Thats very cool and the air freshener feature tops it off. The low profile headlamp is another cool thing instead of those pesky large headlamps. It would have been nice if they offered brushbars with tougher bristles. I think another downside is the disposable bags Also My Dyson DC14 has hard bristles but my DC24 has soft ones. Maybe its different in UK?
@parwaz78612 жыл бұрын
Yes the DC14 in the USA has stiffer bristles in the USA than the uk, so a USA DC14 would have stiffer bristles

does this pick up left over dirt from the normal henry - do a first pass normal henry then this and vice versa and see which one is better

This cleans carpets better than a normal Henry because of the powered brush head even though it has less suction, the bristles separate the carpet fibres and remove embedded dirt more than a standard henry

I was quite impressed by that. Thanks for the demo. Would the clearing of debris from the ends of the brush bar be improved if it had air channels to the edge? (The downside would be losing suction onto the carpet of course.)
@parwaz78612 жыл бұрын
I think it could help but also make it worse at the same time 😅 because if there’s an air channel near the edges more dirt would likely get sucked up towards the edge of the head and if it’s long hair being vacuumed up for example, it could get wrapped up more around the drive shaft of the brushbar and motor cog

I don't like bagged vacuums at all. Considering that you need to have bags in stock if you want to operate the machine, constantly throwing out the plastic from the bags which is very wasteful for the environment and hard times emptying it if accidentally sucked something you didn't want to. I think the running costs would get really high with this machine. Air fresheners make it even worse for people with allergies as the aroma can be really strong and it just hides the smells and odors that come out of the dust in the bag that can also lay in it for weeks or months. Another thing is leakage and loss of suction over some time. A good bagless vacuum doesn't need any air fresheners. This is all just my opinion why this ancient dusting technology should be forgotten. Maybe if the bags were at least reusable, but it would be still hard for cleaning them out. They can't be recycled. I mean, the price of 3-5 bags already equal to 1/4 the price of my mains bagless vacuum. No, it's not Dyson, just a cheap Electrolux Ease. I think for that price you can get something also cordless that would perform even better.
@ollialbone2 жыл бұрын
Bags these days are mostly recyclable. Also, it's far cleaner for people with allergies, you never come into contact with the dust. There is less maintenance, bags generally last a long while and the air freshener doesn't have to be used.
@davedebang-bang61682 жыл бұрын
I’m not even gonna go into the reasons why it’s been proven that bags nowadays are equal to or better than bagless, bagless machines can smell, and smell really bad, then you have to strip them down to clean the cyclones and shrouds where as with a bag just dump it in the bin and out in a new one voila no smells, air fresheners on vacuums have been around for years, I remember back in the 80cm y mums hoover turbopowers had air fresheners ( I’m in the uk ) Not gonna going into everything else but do your research first
