Ya Chester was open with the band and the fans about his battles and depression. I met him a couple times and the band. Legendary moments in my life following them on tour. Unfortunately his demons were too much for him to handle. His lyrics said it all and he is missed by many. RIP Chester.

This is one of the few LP songs that always makes me cry. This is such a wonderful melancholy both from Chester's passing and my own realization of how it resonates with me. I love Skylar's voice as well. I have loved Linkin Park for as long as i can remember. Im 40 and Chester's voice got me through 4 deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and now more then ever he still helps me with my struggles. One more light is one of my favorite songs. ❤❤

By the time I was out from under their thumb I was declined for service on account of an ankle that had broken & healed incorrectly. I thank you for doing all that you did during your time in service to our nation, no matter how crumby or screwed up the politics behind everything might've been, you still did what you were ordered to do in both of those hellscapes. Were I to have been in your shoes I don't know how I would've gotten through, especially with how things ended, it wouldn't have been pretty whether I turned that inward or outward. The fact that Linkin Park helped you to get through your time makes me all the more grateful for Chester's work ... and sacrifice.
