Holy Reaper here - This was honestly a good fight, until the end. The guy was light parrying my second light attack wind ups, causing me to change up how I played. His sweep combo was also devastating. A lot of damage in a short amount of time. Great fight until he left. Was pretty irritating. Unfortunate this match turned out this way. That's honestly upsetting. This valk was doing really-really well and had all the chances to beat the warden if she adapted a bit more. But I suppose, the player was already strongly demoralised after the previous losses and had no belief in themselves. Also, maybe they're not so good at long fights that require constant adaptation - they always do much better at the beginning of a match but then lose energy. Like that devastating combo when the valk almost flawlessed tye warden but then stopped the pressure and lost it.

@@petrugogircea2630 Read my comment again: I said that she STARTS really well. She often does just insane combos in the first rounds of a match almost getting a flaweless round, and then she suddenly loses energy and tempo, and everything crumbles. It's happening to her pretty consistently.

That was the most unnecessary ragequit. I’m watching this and I don’t see much bad happening, it was a very good fight. There were a few things that Valk could’ve done. He did miss a couple of EZ shoulder pins but nothing too major. I don’t think he used his light finishers at all, that woulda been fast enough to intercept Wardens lights. The match was very interesting But maybe he got into his feels due to the two back to back executions? I don’t know

Biggest problems by far with her are her absolute dog shit dodge attack, pretty weak all block (yes i know you can get a gb when they hit you when all blocking) weak chained pressure, low damage, reactable sweep and high stam consumption (for real her heavy hard feint into gb with a heavy attack followup costs like 40% of her stam)

I had a strong feeling by the end of the first fight that it was gonna be valk that dipped. Based off of how warden was attacking with mainly unblockedable bashes and spams(not hating on warden or nothing). But Unless he living in the UK or somewhere not in the US that's just about the biggest cap of a lie for why he left. No hate so much towards valk either, it was a pretty good match up until he left. Could've even made another comeback and possibly won. I'm not s fan of the quit but it is what it is wouldn't be too surprised if the other losses in the tournament has an impact on him leaving

I don’t get why the warden is attempting side light into top light for 23 potential damage and way higher parry risk, when top light into side light does 26 damage, and top light into top light does 25, and is significantly harder to predict. Is top light faster?

Quite evenly matched players, it just came down to who avoided the most 50/50s. And I’m gonna be blunt here but I’ve been seeing a lot of unnecessary hate towards the Valkyrie: the poor guy was expected to be respectful and kind and the most ironic part about that is, not only has Angelus had incredibly toxic players in the past but also the for honor community is well known for its negativity so there should be no expectation for wanting 2 highly respectful players. Another horrible part is that he wasn’t even negative towards anyone in anyway. The worst part is that The comments really showed how negative the community is not by insulting him but giving back handed compliments, It’s incredibly 2 faced to be acting like you haven’t raged at this game and narcissistic to be shaming him for it.
