She's a beautiful Mikado. Sure wish NS would paint her in the Green and Gold Southern Passenger scheme again though, she looked better wearing it than in her normal paint scheme.

Southern 2-8-2 Mikado 4501 was build in October 1911 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Eddystone, Pennsylvania. She was the 1st of 182 Mikados. The engine is performed flawlessly on The Norfolk Southern Steam Program excursions all the way until 1994. The 4501 continues all the way until 1998 after The Norfolk Southern Steam Program ended in 1994. In 2011, The "21st Century Steam" was launched by the Norfolk Southern. In 2014, 4501 returns to Steam once again. 4501 operates today with 2-8-0 630. 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃

Bruce Tharpe Frisco 4501 is a 4500 class 4-8-4 build by Baldwin in 1942.
