I know it's so simple that you would have figured it out but it gave an explanation anyway: 1) Choose a number (say 3) 2) Find its six figure binary value (which is 000011) 3) Now let's arrange this binary no in a column in reverse order and assign it card no. from card1 to card6: 1> card1 1> card2 0> card3 0> card4 0> card5 0> card6 *Now's here's the interesting part!!* Only those cards which had 1(card1 and card2) are having the no. 3. 3 is not present in any other cards. Do the same with any no . Finds its six figure binary and find out the card no. which got 1. Cards which got 1 will only have your no.

Add the left corner in which your number is present
