Thank you for your thorough research and explanations about Japanese culture and bonsai! Many instruments are used in Japan's old traditional performing arts (Noh) and Gagaku. The picture in the frame shown by the three old men who appear at the end of the story to the children is called ``Kamishibai,'' and was used to show various stories in pictures at a time when television and games were not popular. It was one of the fun performances of the children as they talked to each other. It's a worldview that gives you a sense of a peaceful future and dreams.

I love your reaction videos. I am so glad you featured #Number_i again. I think they are geniuses. The reason is that it is such a complex and profound concept that has been made into a wonderfully enjoyable and entertaining music video. In the final scene, when the three ride on their bicycles, the announcement goes as follows. Today, the storyboard artists are going out to the towns where everyone is waiting for them. They pedal their bicycles nimbly, even though there are thundering dark clouds ahead of them.

It can sound a little bit lighter and smoother than you might imagined. You can say it not like "bon-zai" but like "bon-sigh" which sounds more naturally in Japanese🌳

Did you notice, when the elevator reaches to the 1000 something floor, it goes back to 0. That is the Japanese philosophy. We always starts from 0, wherever we are. The pronunciation of “Bonsai” is “sai” in Japones, not “zai”, by the way.

Hello! Very impressed that you picked up the lyrics as well and share your thoughts with us. There are so many metaphors in this song the main concept is Bonsai though.
