Thx for your reaction! 😊 As you mentioned, the MV has pauses and visual change ups for narrative purpose but if you listen to the music-only version, the beat changes and sudden drops are so effective and dope and the more you listen to it, the more you are hooked - such addictive and creative work. Personally BON is my personal favorite 2024 banger thus far. 🎉. They also used a lot of traditional Japanese instruments and musical motifs in the track, which added a very original twist. After you listen to it a few times, I bet it’ll hit your playlist.

This song was created with Japan strongly in mind. This song has many modulations and incorporates traditional Japanese music. The lyrics are also excellent, meaningful, and piercing.There are many metaphors for BON. Those who see BON, a fusion of Japanese taste and hip-hop, will be overwhelmed! As you know BON means BONSAI=Japanese dwarf pot plants. Bonsai care methods include wrapping wire (harigane-針金) around the trunk and branches to shape and prune them. This is a metaphor for the relationship between Number_i and their fans, bonsai and wire. It can be taken as expression of love for the fans. I hope you will keep an eye on Number_i!
