Thank you for your reaction. As you may know, they were members of a top idol group in Japan until two years ago. They had been appealing to their agency for the direction of music they wanted to pursue, but it was not accepted, so the three of them left the group and chose to follow their own musical path. The agency was very influential in Japan, and members who had previously left Japan's most popular idol group were not allowed to sing in front of the media for about seven years until this year. This is because the agency put pressure on all media. So, as their fans, we cried when they left the agency last year because there was a strong possibility that we would never see them again. However, by chance, the agency went bankrupt, and they joined an agency created by someone who had left the agency, and are still active as they are now. Until then, they had never been able to do what they wanted, and their previous agency was always pressuring and controlling them. This song is a declaration of their intention to escape from that and take the initiative in the music and dance they want to pursue.

この「GOAT」という曲はもちろんですが、以前紹介された「BON」や「INZM」には歌詞にGOATという言葉が含まれています😉 「GOAT」は「Greatest Of All Time」というスラングを表していて、以前のアイドルグループから脱退して3人で世界の頂点を目指すというメッセージです🤗 映像展開や曲の切り替えがユニークで聴き応えも見応えもありますね👀✨

Thx for your reaction! Number_i ‘s songs are so addictive! The more you listen to it, you’ll be hooked. There’s also so much details in the MV, which you may miss on first view but gradually discover new elements! The rewinding part in the MV was Sho’s (the blond) idea, which is not on the original track. Sometimes the word choices in the lyrics are based on heavy word-play and rhyming and the translation sometimes does not do justice but they rap about themselves, not fantasies. If you’d like, plz react to GOAT Performance MV. The aesthetics is awesome in traditional Japanese settings and you get to see more of the choreography, which is worth watching! 🎶🔥🐐

Additionally, at the end of their music videos, all the people involved in the creation are listed. If you go a little further into the music video, you will see the names of the dance choreographers and video directors. As you have said, they are all very famous people. You really have a good eye!!

Number_iデビュー曲「GOAT」聴いて下さって　ありがとうございます。「GOAT」「BON」「INZM」の歌詞を理解するのに彼らのこれまでを説明します。もうご存じかもしれませんが　2018年6人で「King ＆ Prince」で曲「シンデレラガール」デビュー　早々に1人がパニック障害で脱退　5人で世界に通用するアーティストになる　そんな夢を持ってました。先代の社長も同じ夢を叶える様に思ってましたが　亡くなりました。新体制の社長や幹部の方は　国内で売れるだけで良い。会社の方針の違いから　2022年11月4日突然の脱退発表　事務所からの発表は　『King ＆ Prince　内の　内部分裂』でした。2023年5月22日に退社　　2024年1月1日０時０分デビュー曲「GOAT」が新事務所「TOBE」より配信　。「GOAT」の歌詞にも　アレックスさんがコメントしていた様に　彼らからこれまでの出来事が間違いだらけで　ここからが本当の自分達の人生　最高到達点「GOAT」　ビデオが巻き戻　同じ廊下で新しい部屋に出会い　ここからファンと最も高く昇っていく　こんな考察です ファンへのメッセージ「俺らに着いてくりゃ　見せてやるnyu　warudo」今はファンは彼らに新しい世界を毎日見せてもらってます　明日も「ニューヨーク　タイムズスクエアに5面の映像が流れる」そうです　もう今日です
