I have a copy of "Apple: The Inside Story of Intrigue, Egomania, and Business Blunders" by Jim Carlton too. I can still remember borrowing it from the library when I was a teenager. After it was written, Steve Jobs would return and change everything.

I'm 39, and I remember spending many hours in the computer lab playing this, Word Munchers, and all sorts of MECC goodness! I introduced my godchildren to Number Munchers on my IIe not too long ago. I have a IIgs on the way, so I guess I'll be pulling out some of these games again shortly.

Hmm, maybe you are using a strange ROM. which ROM version are you using? i reccomend Mac IIci rom for that vintage.
