This is the first time I see in a video someone talking about the rumor of Mexico having nuclear weapons. I am mexican and one of my teachers talked about it once and then I read it again last year somewhere, but it is mostly considered a conspiracy. What is true though, is that Mexico has the total capability of building nuclear weapons, both in material and human resources. I guess that's why the USA practically insisted the president back then to sign the treaty. Anyway, Mexico will probably never create nuclear weapons, the country has always tried to stay away from world wars and foreign conflicts, as it should be.
