To explain, since 1998, France has been 4 times a World Cup finalist out of 7 tournament. Since 2000, France has been 2 times a Europe Cup finalist out of 6 tournament. France also won the newest European tournament called “Nation League”. In the world France is ranked 2, but in reality they won 2 World Cup in the last 7 edition with 4 times finalist, which makes them already the best country et in the world for… 20+ years? No country has such a crazy amount of world class players. Other countries may have their period to shine, but France is mostly always there. They are favourite to win the 2024 Europe Cup, and already favourite to win the 2026 World Cup. You can watch more about France in football, it’s insane how good they are. Some key players will soon retire so it is interesting to see how it will unfold, but as an example there is already a midfielder at PSG that is 17 years old and he is a regular starter for PSG and… maybe for France already.
