Brady, you are a remarkably talented interviewer. Your questions really bring a depth to the subject and leave us with a fuller appreciation of the interviewee's ideas.

As a math educator, I love what John is trying to do for mathematical outreach. I'm glad I can point to him as a role model for my own students. I can't wait to see and show more of his work in that area.

At first I was wondering, "Why is Brady interviewing someone I've never heard of, who isn't even very far into his math career?" But as I read his Wikipedia page, it became very clear. This guy's only a year older than me and he's already achieved so much. And now that I've listened to the interview: Wow! He sounds like a fantastic person all-around! Thanks so much for interviewing him and bringing him to our attention. I can't wait to see what else he achieves down the road. You have to bring him back in a few years!

I'm a math nerd and a sports fan. No reason those two things need to be mutually exclusive!

I never knew my hero was interviewed by Brady but here we are. I have known of John since high school because he came from my high school and he gave a talk at my graduation. In a lot of ways he is the reason why I always stayed with math in undergrad and why now I am a mathematical psychologist PhD student.

He's six foot three and has a PhD in maths. He kind of reminds me of Doctor Hulk. Thanks for bringing him to our attention Brady. Really interesting.

This dude seems to be the coolest person ever. The point he makes about sports being put on a kind of pedestal as a way out but education being the better tool is really important. Education is by no means a guarantee but it gives you way better chances than hoping to make it with professional sports.
