As I watched the Homegoing Service of Mrs. Elizabeth Hayes, and that is just as I saw it, because the service exemplified to me all I could muster up with-in the true love, honesty, your embrace, connection, life long real memories, respect, and never ending words of how the Seven of you represented Mrs. Elizabeth Hayes, your mother a Royal Trophy. You made it known what a good Mother you had, so on that note, how could you not miss her. We thank God for her life span. Yes, she was about her children and grandchildren. The time I shared with Mrs. Hayes was admirable because she did not cut any corners to express her feelings. Point about the donkey: The donkey was not scared nor acted in a way that HARMED Baleem. Which makes Baleems reason for beating his donkey more self reflective to us as readers. Do not harm those who do not harm us.

Ive just left a church. Baalam was the pastor. He was a washed out pastor who didn't want to submit to a church leadership, so he went and started his own church. His "honored" elder was Jezebel. The two of them are a match made in hell 🤯

I truly do not understand how he was willfully disobeying God when verse 20 says That night God came to Balaam and said "Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you". Isn't that directions from God to go? So then what's the purpose of the Angel of the Lord with a sword?

I believe Balaam was asking God can I go with them? As in can I sin? God, you’ve told me No a few times already but can I go? Can I sin with them? And God in His wisdom says Go. It was a test that reveals Balaam’s heart. God said....if the men call you to rise, go with them. But Balaam didn’t even wait for them to call him. He just went on his own. Hope that helps! In the Kjv Bible it’s says « And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, IF the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do. » he said « if » that’s why we need to get the right Bible. Get you the kjv, it’s the best translation.

It depends on which version as well King James says "if they summon you" others say "since..."
