I took over crying for you at the end of the vlog, Mary. Praying that surgery is going great, and hopefully over! I have several hospital days coming up in the next couple weeks and I am so exhausted. today I didn’t get out of bed until 2:30 in the afternoon. My heart and lungs are tired, and my body is so exhausted. You give me so much hope and strength. I have adopted and adapted several of your songs. “I’m awake I’m alive and my head doesn’t even hurt” is my most sang tune. I’m praying for you!!!

Mary is the troopiest trooper I've ever seen!! YOURE AMAZING, MARY!!! Cheering you on and praying for your recovery!! Hugs! It's been a super crazy week for me, but I just have to praise the LORD. I don't usually like to share personal things in comments, but I just have to praise the Lord Jesus Christ. Earlier this year, my mom had intense pain in her abdomen and wound up having a CT scan. The scan showed she had a large fibroid, but the cause of her pain was later determined to be her gallbladder. She had the gallbladder removed, but she needed to have this fibroid remobved. So, recently, she had a major surgery to remove it, and some other things. Yesterday Mom met with her doctor who said pathology called, and that that's never a good thing. Fibroids are basically ALWAYS benign, never any kind of problem, and totally harmless. Mom had an extremely rare, EXTREMELY aggressive cancer in the fibroid. It multiplies/grows so quickly it as if it is bubbling. It is the most aggressive cancer of its kind. Her doctor said her case was exceptionally rare, in that they caught it before it was too late to treat. It is also always found when the patient will die soon. She said that if Mom hadn't have had the surgery when she did, she would probably have been dead in a few months. My Mom's life was saved through this procedure, and we just found out about it yesterday. I am overwhelmingly grateful to God for His unmatchable kindness, and immeasurable mercy toward my family and I. My Mom is my best friend, my person. She will have more surgery soon to remove other areas that could've been affected. We are rejoicing beyond any kind of rejoicing we've ever done before, and trusting God with the future. No matter what, He is always good!!! Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ!!!
@ThisBubblyJESUSFreak8 жыл бұрын
Without the gallbladder issue, she would've never found out about the fibroid, and would likely be dying right now. Praise the LORD!!!!!

Oh by the way, saw you vlog about advocating for double beds in hospital. In my room there's my hospital bed, but also a double sofa bed for partners or family! A coffee table, easy chair and kitchenette, exercise bicycle, plasma tv and Xbox (I choose a book though) amongst other services for us 'VIP' patients! Very lucky to have such a specialist CF ward. It makes those long stays and the exhausting medical regime on top of our exhausting condition a bit more bearable and homely.
