I have been a loyal Denver Broncos fan since 1970, but I never had the chance to attend a game in Denver due to living in the small town of South Fork in Southern Colorado. The games were always sold out, so even with the means, attending was not an option. In 1978, I relocated to Santa Rosa in the San Francisco Oakland Bay Area, where my dedication to the Broncos was well recognized. The loss to the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 55 to 10 was a tough moment. Following that defeat, I resolved to watch the Super Bowl alone at home rather than join parties. The victory over the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl 32 was a moment of sheer joy. My wife almost had to calm me down from my excitement. Super Bowl 33 was awesome as well having won back-to-back Superbowl's. Super Bowl 50 was yet another memorable event, and it's great to witness the team's current success. With over 50 years of fandom, I tend to refrain from making predictions, but I have a strong feeling that the Broncos will outplay the Raiders here in Las Vegas. This Sunday, my wife and I will be in the stands ay Alligiant Stadium, and though we'll be in the upper tiers, our cheers for the Broncos will likely be heard loud and clear.
