Couldn't agree more. Nathan absolutely nails this with bass and vocals. John Mitchell provides his usual high quality guitarwork and vocals, Craig provides the superb backbeat and Jem does what Jem does. Absolute legend. If they were from the seventies, they'd be lauded. An excellent band. Love them.

Dare I say it but I prefer this version to the studio recording - doesn’t sound so compressed which makes the drums kick ass more. Great song anyway and fantastic playing.

Would agree. And that's been my only complaint with the otherwise amazing production on a lot of Frost*. The compression seemed "of the time" when it was released, but it's a bit much nowadays to my ears.

László Takács True but I think Numbers is much more enjoyable, I love Police and covered some songs of them in my ancient band but they always tend to change the tonal or their song for something naive at some point and ruin the build up they created. It’s my humble opinion not a fact. I’m 26 so I guess my ears prefer a song that doesn’t change too much his tone. Or if I want to hear modulations i would listen to some Marillion (with H), Arch Echo (first album) or even George Duke. But Police even if they are really inspiring it is hard to listen much of their songs in a row.

I didn't catch it until now, but I notice they dropped the key signature from the original lp recording. It makes sense. That original recording was up there. Jem's voice is impeccable, and this band is so sick.... so so sick. Listen to that musical creation. Like Jesus had a baby.
