The literal MOST UNDERRATED horsewarriors to touch the planet. People forget about the Berber and Sahel African horsemen that exist. No Numidian Cav no wins for Hannibal. Point, blank, period. Who won the battles of the Punic wars? The Numidians Cav easy. I think people forgot the meaning of the word "underrated"

@@CsStoker’underrated - not rated or valued highly enough’ from Google. The Numidian Cav is underrated in terms of warrior horsemen throughout history. People speak of the Mongols, Huns, Scythians, Celtic Cav, and Persian Cataphract and etc while the Numidian’s are in fact forgotten and only mentioned for the Punic Wars (understandably) significantly underrated mentioning in history overall. Northern Africa and the Sahel produced some of the greatest light cavalry that was used for skirmishing.

@@CsStoker I just gave you an example of what I’m talking about friend I can’t clarify it any further. They are mentioned the least and usually put at the bottom of the totem pole when compared to other forms of cavalry through history. That’s all I meant my brother I mean no hostility. Just from my experience Numidian Cav is usually left on the wayside when compared to other forms of cavalry.

@@TheWarriorScholarTWS It's because of the historical period in which they thrived, for example they are a focus point in the Punic wars, Jugurtine wars and Caesar's conquest of Gaul and Caesar's civil war, after that they became streamlined with Augustus auxiliary military reforms. They are highly covered during the times they were in history.

Depends ,they had way different fighting style compared to the numidians
