Alec made it in 1966 (age 16) for a Nuneaton Cine Circle set title competition “Winter Impressions”. He seems to remember it came 3rd.
Alec says...
It starts with some gloomy shots of wintry Seeswood Pool, then moves to snowy scenes of the Bull Ring (shot from the window above my dad’s shop), then off to the town centre and the market, just before Christmas. Finishes with what - at the time - was a fairly tricky and time-consuming bit of frame-by-frame animation.

lovely short film, nice memories. The Bull Ring has changed a lot, try and get out there now without stopping. Then the Market Place, at 0:48 the light colour standard we had one just like that, who knows ! and all those people in the town centre, alas no more. Thanks for posting
