I love this! I know it probably sounds trite to tell you how talented you are! You can't be that good and not know you are. But I have been following your career with VP and now here and on some of your other projects with other people, and you are one of my favorite artists. It's such a weird time in the music industry...I wish independent artists like you and VP, etc., would get the kind of recognition you deserve from Grammys. It would go a long way to spreading great music, and to redeeming themselves (Grammy's, I mean) for just being in the pocket of the big corporate labels. I know you could get signed (I don't mean by the Navy, that was an awesome thing for you to do!) but I so admire you guys who are staying unapologetically independent when it might be easier to acquiesce to selling your souls to a big label and losing all your creative autonomy.
