It doesn't automatically stop itself at the end of the run? Curious

Can probably have it stop at the tops of runs if you do a backfold on the metal like you should be doing. Still have to switch it off but you get the visibal cue and sound that its at the end.

Wher can I buy it?

We are a roofing contractor, not a supplier so hard to say. You might do a local search on metal roofing suppliers.

Do you recommend this better than manually seaming and why?
@contractorsroofserviceinc.6682 жыл бұрын
We recommend this vs. manually seeming the panels, specifically because it eliminates the foot traffic on the newly installed roof system, which can result in surface scratches, etc.

yep...typical roofing company...ask a question they know nothing about...they tell you theyre just a roofing company first instead of a simple...we dont know. followed by sorry...then help by saying where you can find the product or how much it is...better yet...they tell you where they got...but im sure they dont want to reveal that part...lol. so competitive fellas.

We've been doing this a long time as well (our parent company = 30 years) and as mentioned above, there are benefits to doing it this way. Is it the only way? No. But it is an efficient way.

Machine crimped seams are a hell of a lot tougher than hand bent ones. Not to mention that you dont have to manually go and crimp every small section. Especially on a steeper roof which im pretty sure these types of seam crimpers still handle
