Agreed. My sister had a baby and I lucked into a 2001 Trans Am because of it, for only $8000 with 60k miles on it. It's currently in for a cam, push rods, lifters, springs, intake manifold, TB, and a tune. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about it.

I really want a 5 speed 3.8 fbody as my first sports car. I've only been driving a few years and so far all I've had are the 3.8 Buicks non-supercharged. I really love the engine and 4th gen f bodies are my favorite so I think it'd be a great car to learn stick and RWD on :)

Proof LS engines are decent solid platforms, 100,000 plus miles and had no problem putting up a solid lap around the Nurburgring, that has to mean something.

Any LS minus the AFM are some of the best stock gassers for reliability imo. Maybe surpassing that 3800 level of reliability even.

The firebird has long tube headers, going into a stock exhaust, an LS6 intake, koni shocks, springs, sway bars, 285/30 toyo R888's, gutted interior, and 14in brembo brakes off of a 2010 camaro. Could have easily done a sub 8 min lap with a clear track.

I assume this was during a Touristfahren session? I dont think people realize how much traffic there usually is in a given day, most of the non factory "records" you see on KZbin are 1st 5 mins or last 5 mins of the day. That was some highly impressive driving, I was thrilled to break the 8 min barrier whe. I first bought my Skyline and that had 440hp and Toyos on it at the time plus only 2 or 3 real hold ups from slow traffic. Do you still own the car?

KyleP133 the people who run their mouths usually think mk3 and mk4 supras handle well too, despite having no experience behind the wheel of anything. From my experience the mk3 and mk4 are very comparable to the sn95 and 4th gen camaros.

Great car and great video!! Lots of people just don't understand the capabilities of these cars with very few mods. Many people aren't great at driving rear wheel drive cars either especially with solid axles. much of what is seen here is pure driving skill!!

3rd and 4th generation F body's handle really good. I had a 91 Camaro RS V8 and a 98 Z28 Convertible. Iroc won best drivers car once.

hey I love these videos but I don't understand the context. can someone explain the racing format? like, why are there so many different vehicles of different classes on the same track at the same time? why is F-body guy driving fast and hard while everybody else is just sort of leisurely cruising? he's making safe passes on the bikes and slower cars but otherwise it seems kinda dangerous for one guy to be chasing a hot lap while a bunch of other people just putt around. obviously I'm ignorant but I'm just curious. thanks in advance.

she is a handful so i took your video and lowered it so i could only watch your steering wheel and i think you should watch it this way too it will give you some insight on the amount of flexing taking place on your chassis so i think an inspection after this run is well within reason
