NURBURGRING ROAD TRIP PREP PART 2! | FOCUS RS | GARAGE UPDATE | VLOG 50

I have been super busy getting ready for my upcoming road trip to the Nurburgring in Germany!
Leading directly from the previous Garage Update, I get even more in depth with the prep work with detailing, metal fabrication, weight reduction and safety improvements!
Kicking off with the fabrication work which is finally getting to something that I talked about a while ago which is custom making exhaust tip adaptors for the Mountune V3 exhaust so that tips from other manufacturers could be used. This is currently almost impossible as Mountune is possibly the only exhaust maker that uses v-band tips and they refuse to sell replacements.
I run through the fab process and then show the adaptors in place along with getting the epic Milltek burnt titanium tips in place, clamped on with matching Milltek top quality clamps!
The detailing that I do starts with glass usingTurtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Mist glass cleaner which is super easy to use, is super effective and is a real innovation due to not just being branded up alcohol so you don't get hit with nasty fumes on the interior of the car and in fact it smells great!
I also check out other Hybrid Solutions products new this year for the interior - Fabric Cleaner and Fabric Protector. Both very easy to use, the protector is literally spray and leave - couldn't be easier!

I decided that I would do some weight reduction since going to the ring, you would want maximum performance, right?!
I do this by removing the rear seats entirely, showing the entire process which was much less hassle than you might think!

Hey Adam. Quick question. I've bought a snap in racing harness ahead of tracking the RS and looking to fit eye bolts like you did. Bought a set of 4 M10 eyebolts thinking all were same 25mm, however, seatbelt anchor at base of B pillar is 45-50mm long. Did you manage to source a longer eyebolt for this position or just go ahead and remove the 10mm spacer? Many thanks as ever for your videos! CheeRS.

Is the angle of the upper seat belts correct? I know there are guidelines somewhere on what the angle must be. I must say they looking perfect and if the budget is sufficient will buy them
