this booth with its numerous beautiful models of Diecast Masters really impressed me a lot, unfortunately i did not have the time to look around during the week, but i did film the model railroad briefly, and i liked the set very much 😅.

Yes I was first disappointed at dicastmasters for only doing the 395 mass but now there offering it in the long stick version I'm definitely getting one now

That 1/87 scale 395 is exciting! It scale next to the 320D is impressive. A side note: is it just me or do the tracks on 1/87 395 Seem A bit undersized in width? With an excavator that large in ho scale, it should be possible to add some of the more prominent hydraulic lines like you see in the 1/50 models.

In the video it is not as visible as on pictures: The CAT 395 ME should be a must buy for me, but because of those unnecessary "new functions" - very skew pannels and their huge hinges - I might not bother... Shame on that trend, I mean if you got to add more functions for whatever reasons do it right at least! Happy about the 1 to 87 version though - that one will not have the same problem. 😊

I think Diecast masters ( Previously Norscot then Tonkin) is going to wait for the end of the world to announce the release of a Cat 345C excavator. Not even CCM is willing to go there since they gave up on 1/48 excavators.

I really wish these manufacturers would make more models of older machines. It's frustrating to see this endless cascade of almost identical modern equipment. The one classic machine they're making you have to buy with a modern machine.

@@CranesEtcTV You should have edited out the horribly fitting panels and hinges on that 390 as well. At the very least blur it.
