I love this map. It feels really clean and open without feeling empty in the slightest. Has features that instantly give you an idea of it's location. And uses a three-lane setup in the best way. (each 'lane' has it's own terrain features that the player can take advantage of, giving increased meaning to which points you choose to contest.) The guys that make these maps are extremely talented!

I really hope they give the Demonprince of Nurgle his Mortis Engine in the DLC. How is Grandfathers Ascended Champion NOT smelling so bad, that you take Damage? Also, how does Vomitus only have 370 Weaponstrenght?? You would think a a Demonprince hits a bit harder than a Mortal Mage

SEMs in general could do with a substantial increase in WS. Rather than giving everything mortis engines or healing (or both) CA could look into making SEMs more viable by other means.

Daemon Prince of Nurgle has mortis in campaign, the reason they don't want to give him one in MP is because flying mortis is generally really hard to deal with. They already fked up with Mutalith that is relatively fast monster with mortis, buffs, debuffs and anti-large all in one.

Dramatic play here! I've never seen such a rapid triple-cap, and then a flip to opponent's triple-cap, and then another flip to almost another triple-cap in one game! How did that happen? What was the strategy? It seems that the demons got the early two points by flying the healing lords across the field to slow the high elves' advance. The lords did massive Area Of Effect spells and injured all of the elven units. Then the elves scattered and focus-fired the demon's cap-weight ground units so they couldn't keep a hold of the points. Flip! The demons used the Bloodletters as slow cavalry, instead of as point-holding squatters, but were able to force many elven units to retreat off the map (and took out the elven anti-air). Flip! The archmage used to have archer support, and could run away to the anti-air to shelter from the demon lords ("chickens"). Until he couldn't find archer-support, and he went down. GG.

Hey turin, not sure if you are still intrested but AoW4 is suppose to get the 1st "BIG" dlc. New culture, new tomes (twice as mana as in the dragon one) a lot of new units items, better sea battles etc. Trailer is on. the reales date is in 3 weeks.

The only infantry on the roster faster than the bloodletters are daemonettes and they would have been slaughtered by archers before getting into melee.

Versitility is the name of the game if you go for demons. Their only real weak points are (relative) lack of armor and the faction ability being random and tied to the lord.

spoilers while managing to take the game back was well played I think not getting a triple cap was a crucial error in his plan, that aggression with a triple cap would have given him such a massive lead

The bound spells from the lore of Tzeentch are better at crowd clearing and the 350 you save can be spent on a Nurgling for cap weight. When you invest over 5000 in resources on flying SEs plus screamers, you need to get as much cap weight on the board as possible

The other greater daemons just don't have the sauce. Give the great unclean one and the exalted great unclean one 70% missile resistance and take away pestilent decay and they still wouldn't be overpowered. Just big, fat Sigvald-like characters.
