Nurse can't use this perk, HOWEVER... | Dead by Daylight

"Friends 'til the End" is exactly the type of perk that would have been extremely overpowered on Nurse before the nerf that made her blink attacks incapable of applying instadowns. But in this video we'll find another way of making this perk work in a similar fashion!

FTTE is part of my favorite "makes stuff happen" build, alongside Nemesis and Dead Man's Switch. because 1. Nemesis doesn't care how someone becomes obsession when it triggers, and 2. the scream pulls them off a gen and blocks it instantly. I know it's not optimal but god it's fun

one of my favorite perks ever. having two different functions makes it extremely versatile, because it has synergy with so many killers and builds. I've been using it with PWYF, Nemesis, and DMS. Just going from one obsession to the next, always have 2-3 stacks of haste, they're oblivious and you see their aura, and you get constant DMS value without pain res 4 hook limitation.

I'm not quite halfway thru the video, so idk if the wonderful Otz mentions this or not: But, pro-tip for survivors dealing with Friends Til The End (particularly at average MMR like me), if someone goes down and you're the obsession, you can avoid the aura read by pre-emptively getting into a locker before the other survivor is hooked and waiting until your exposed is about halfway thru. TY for the fun videos Otz!!

yep, and if you happen to be the strongest looper, stick around shack or main building loops and wave to the killer when they see your aura, count ten seconds or 12 if you felt they had lethal pursuer, you can even trick them to thinking you going one way but juke them. That may save a gen you almost completed and you can carry the team. Sometimes the killer is good and knows all the gens near you is done and the loops are too strong, so they leave u. its a win-win. Generally main building and shack is near opposite sides of map or so, so you don't get 3 genned if you are gen aware.

Personally, I have been using Friends Till The End on Nurse, simply for the aura reading it gives you to see the survivor. Plus, I have seen several survivors blunder and do something stupid out of panic due to being exposed.

I’ve been doing a similar build but with Skull Merchant and Furtive Chase. FTTE and FC are a combo made in heaven on Skull Merchant, don’t even have to run monitor to completely mess with people’s sense of where you are due to the drones giving stealth, hooking the obsession, and just being a fiend in loops. Current version of the build is more of a comfort one, but Dead locked, lethal, friends, and chase is what I’ve been seeing a lot of success with as of recent.

I just played a matched with Hag on RPD with Friends, scourge pain res, lethal pursuer, and devour hope. As soon as I teleported and insta-downed the one player early in the match, ALL FOUR disconnected in a row. Funniest thing I ever saw in this game, took my time playing with four bots in one match. The funny thing is: I put the RPD Badge down as an offering because I intended to let them all leave and get a chance at RPD Breakout XD

Something that could make improve the build is instead of Monitor and Abuse, you could run Furtive Chase so when the obsession changes you are rewarded with undetectable and haste on a target you can also one shot if you teleport right to them.

Hey Otz! I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but your mic has had a bit of a "popping" sound in the past few videos. It only happens in certain moments when you talk and it's always at the same times when I replay the video and adjust my volume, so it's not my headphones. tbh i run friend till the end on nurse, if i don't hook the obsession i see them and i can instantly go to them or make them panic and enter a locker, if i hook the obsession another survivor screams and most likely Deadman's switch activates

Take note. The reason why these perk combos are so strong is because killers can stack perks that give exposed status. As if you could not trigger two perks with exposed status buff even a lot of your most powerful examples of teleport guarding hook would be less effective and more balanced.

Let's imagine he doesn't bring coupe de gras and instead takes starstruck. You have everyone nearby a carried survivor exposed for 2 minutes and friends till the end will expose and show obsession location. Meaning you could run to the reveal find wrong target and still insta down. Now let's add make your choice. This will force hook saves to be unsafe and give exposed status to the savior. Finally add dragons grasp as the few times you rotate the map your more than likely going to find survivors working on gens kick the gens that are closest to finishing when a survivor touches the gen they scream and become exposed. So the synergy of this build is do what a killer does normally but be stronger than they were designed to be.
