That wallpaper is adorable! Your new baby will enjoy making up stories about the things that happen in those settings.

Love it! I’ve been following you for a while now. I love your work. I’ve been hanging wallpaper for many years. I agree with you about not using a drywall knife. However, plastic can also tear the wallpaper. I learned from a wallpaper guy years ago to use an old fashioned blackboard eraser to smoothe the paper. It works like a charm. Please be careful on the ladder. While you may be comfortable on a ladder due to your years of experience, pregnancy throws off your center of gravity. Retired RN here. ❤

That's a great tip with the blackboard eraser - Thank you! 💗

The return on the apron is perfection. It's going to be such a lovely room. I'm in Melbourne, Florida, and so is my sister. Your house might be close to the same age (built in the 60s I think) as hers because she also has plaster walls (with a horrible sand finish, some of which she has sanded) and tile sills. I know you're also somewhere in Florida. Looking forward to the next installment.

Yes, north Florida! House built in the 50's and lots of interesting old features that I'm sure your sister can relate to 😅

Great pick of the wallpaper as you are so right preparation is the key to hanging the wallpaper. 😊

I love that wallpaper, it is warm and whimsical. Is Devin deployed, or is he seeing the work as it progresses? I know that the day at the pool, is probably just what you needed. Looks like you are taking very good care of yourself. Can't wait for the next installment. Have you figured out what color you are painting the wainscoting? Take care, Stefani. Thanks for sharing. ❤

He was overseas for a few months but is back now! Excited to have my helper back. I'll be painting the wall moulding an off-white and then adding a pop of color to the closets and crown moulding! Thanks for watching!! 💗😊

Nice choice on the wallpaper, it's cute. My daughter was born in 1970, we didn't know the sex, back in my days, til the baby was born. It was such a pleasant surprise for the special day!

So fun to watch this transformation! I was excited to see you take out the tile sill so I could learn how to do it but womp. 😅 I want to retile mine so just covering it up won't work.

Have you tried the roller application of joint compound then smooth with knife? I’ve never tried but it seems easier and more uniform than doing it all by knife.
@HomeWithStefani7 ай бұрын
I haven't but that sounds like a much easier application! Will have to give it a go next time.

Does the noise from the sander care the baby? Just wondering 😊
