You're so right that your nursery tour is more useful once it's been in use for a year As you say often they are done before baby arrives and as such are more home dressing than functional rooms. That said Delilah's room is gorgeous. The little shelf set up is so cute.

This isn't really a nursery tip, but my mom saved some of my baby clothes and would let me use them to play dress up with my dolls when I was little. It was always really fun for me.

Hi Rhiannon my tip would be to have a lamp with a low wattage bulb or on a dimmer in the nursery so when feeding baby during the night the brightness from the centre light wouldn't waken or stimulate as much xx

What a beautiful little girl and lovely nursery and many good ideas. I would love to buy everything at the White Company! Great job! I always give a tip for those who may not know...if your child has stuffed animals, which almost all children do, a great tip is to toss them in the dryer with a fresh dryer sheet every so often. It is a great way to freshen them up and keep them dust free. Have a great day.

I was going to get a doll from Stella and Kate for my daughter last Christmas but I just couldn't get my hands on one. She doesn't take custom orders often and when she puts some up for sale they are sold out so fast if you aren't stalking her Instagram. I went with the Tickled Beet on Etsy. She also hand makes them and they are custom. But they are more affordable and I think more adorable.

Is the dresser attached to the wall? A lot of toddlers can pull the knobs and actually tip the dresser onto themselves. I believe IKEA actually discontinued a dresser recently due to the amount of children that had knocked them over onto themselves.
