What a beautiful nursery Sammi! Jason did a great job on the clothes rack👍. I would only suggest that you get a journal/agenda where you can write all your baby's particulars and her nap, feeding and changing details. Noting these details down will help you remember which because of 'baby brain' you will forget. As well, the doctor will ask about their soiled nappies (including the number of and color), feeding frequency and nap routines. Also it will help you uncover any issues she may have in any of these areas. As well recording napping times will give you an idea of when you can expect to get things done (although you should try to sleep when she sleeps for the first little while). I can't wait for you to have your little girl! All the best to you and Jason!😁

For the first few months, babies love toys with contrasting colours - mainly black and white. So really soft toys like zebras, pandas, penguins etc. I'm so excited for you - the emotions you feel when the baby is in your arms is overwhelming. When people say 'they aren't babies for two minutes' - it's true - enjoy every second of her growing up as it goes way too fast xxx

So beautiful! When I had my daughter I went crazy on tiny clothes and everyone told me she would grow out of them so quickly. The moment she came home from the hospital I started putting her cute outfits on her and would change her into different adorable outfits 3-4 times a day. I'm so so so glad I did! She grew out of the clothes so quickly BUT I have so many memories of her in all her adorable outfits!

Looks so beautiful! That tree branch for a clothing rack is so hygge/Danish/Scandi-style, I love it! The best tips I've heard from my own super-mom, and my friends who have beautiful babies, is to let your baby sleep in her bed for short periods at a time (if it fits the schedule of course), to let her get used to being there. And the other super tip that my mom tells to everyone (not specifically nursery related) is to let babies get used to having noise around them. Makes total sense to me, because the world isn't quiet once you go outside. Makes it easier for her to sleep anywhere, whenever you need her to in the future. My mom could actually vacuum around us, and we both a) slept like 12-16 hour nights, and b) would (and still can) go to sleep anywhere. Which meant they didn't ever have to turn down the TV at home or the radio in the car, which is super nice for the parents, who still deserve to have a normal, sound-full life. Also the mommy police shows up everywhere ("Get your sleep now, or you will never sleep again!" - I saw your tweet earlier), and I promise you, it annoys even those of us who don't have children and aren't pregnant. Just remember they do not know you and your baby. And while all babies are different, unless you have a colicky baby, most new babies sleep quite a bit. Good luck on the labour and enjoy all the firsts! You've got this.

It's such a calm room! Very sweetly decorated. I have a recommendation. I nursed my daughter and the one thing I regret not having was a rocker. I'm assuming you don't have one so it's something I recommend. It helps with nursing posture and it makes baby fall right to sleep after feeding. Good luck! I can't wait to see her!

I know I'm a bit late to the party but I'd invest in a sleep bag. I got one from the white company for my boy and it really helped settling him into a bed time routine. He had bath then into the sleep bag, bottle then he was ready to go to bed, honestly they're amazing! They can be used from birth but I started him in one when he was about 2 months as he hated having a blanket tucked around him. Also we found a humidifier/light helps when he has a stuffy nose. The light changes colour too so if he wakes in the night he can soothe himself back to sleep. Your nursery looks so lovely and peaceful! I love the prints!!! X

I think it's really good you know your baby should be in your room for the first six months to prevent SIDS (also know as cot death) I work with young mums and spread awareness about it to try prevent it from happening. Lovely room though amazing!! Wish you all the best with your delivery

Mika Harris hi never did I say there was niether dose the company theses lots of research to try to decrease the number of babies who do sadly pass away from SIDS. and that's what is happening because more awareness is being spread around the uk and its decreasing which is amazing all the mums I work with more than half make a change and I work with mums who have lost a child and she would strongly disagree as she lost her son and has had a child since and a Helth professional gave her bad advise and if she didn't go back for more advise for safer sleep she may of lost her second son it's the small things that make a difference some cases it can't but a lot of cases it can. It's like when someone says I did it with my first and they turned out ok but there still was a risk. When you have a child and you have all the information to help keep your child safe it's better than not having any knowledge and something going really wrong.

Get a Lenny Lamb carrier! When I had my daughter we got a carrier for my husband but I ended up using it more than he did. We got one similar to an ergo and switched to a Lenny Lamb and they are just so comfy and nice. They are made of wrap material not canvas which makes them nice and flexible. I have a mei tai and love it. I have also tried their buckle carriers and love them as well. Going for walks, doing things around the house, travel, baby snuggles; a good baby carrier is a lifesaver! Congrats on your little one!

love the bright airy feel you are going for but BLACKOUT curtains are a must for any babys room. Also you might find it helpful to stock up on nappies, wipes, cotton wool you will be amazed how quickly you get though them.

Amie Wilson that is NOT a must for any baby's room. Especially being that the baby won't even be sleeping in her crib for a while. If you get a baby use to dark rooms and quiet noises then good luck cause they will wake up to the SMALLEST noise and any light.

Primark have cheap yet really pretty muslin clothes you could use to cover your changing mat, it's surprising how cold they get! With a Muslim cloth it's easier to keep clean instead of having to repeatedly wash a cover.... such a cute nursery xo

Everything in this video is so cuuuutte!! I work with babies, and all though it's not the prettiest, I would really recommend getting some crazy colorful toys, as it's essential for the babies to help stimulate them, and help their vision, as they see black and white the first while! I know how easy it is to just buy the pretty toys, but there is actually a reason for making them in such bright colors.☺️ So happy for you guys, and I'm so excited to see the beautiful baby girl! ❤️
