Nursing in public is normal. I had encountered a women doing in bus stand. Everybody cares their work. Many Men doesn't look it as awkward. May be some jobless may look like that. If that's awkward then men urine in outer room too. But both are not awkward. If there is no proper facility men can hide through plants and urinate. Controlling urine can cause bladder infection and kidney stone. Men has low bladder capacity then women. So until done without any disturbance to public in a hidden place or at least in an unavailable situation nothing is bad.

I think this been long practiced in public place by our mother and grand mothers covering the child with the cloth. Because the child won't get distracted while feeding. I don't think mothers are ashamed to do it. But youtubers are doing this for content unnecessarily. Everyone will wear comfortable clothes to do this. 🙄 They ask not feed in public. So u won't get embarrassed because the child is hyperactive will pull ur dress during feeding.
