Hi Jerin, the situation is much worse in all other industries especially IT. Lot of funding and budget constraints for lot of organisations. Lot of IT resources jobless in the market all Citizens and PR holders as well. Some of them are trying to move to Australia. If you are planning to look for an IT or related job you may have to wait for longer in this situation. As you may have seen in the news already there is hiring freeze in AOG organisations

There’s teaching options but I think initially you may need to work as an RN as it won’t be easy to find teaching jobs easily. Once you’re comfortable and settled then you can find one. Salary scale varies and teaching jobs are quite different to clinical practice

I think there will be decrease in number of nurses (IQN) coming to NZ so the vacancies won’t be filled as faster as they are now. So I believe there will be more vacancies towards end of next year or early 2025. Just my insight based on my research.
