I’m on my last semester of bsn and I recommend that if ur gonna wear tennis shoes get those memory foam inserts cause they are life savers. Also recommend getting an expanding file folder to keep all ur nursing school stuff in to help study for them and also to look back at each semester. Totally worth it. Good luck!

Jenna Larson sorry, I explained this a few videos back! For lab we can wear whatever scrubs we want the top and bottom just have to be the same color! So like for the beige Jedi scrubs from figs, I have to find a color top that matches the bottoms or I can’t wear them:( However, for clinical and simulations (and our final test days in lab) we have to wear our blue ones that have the schools logo on it! I just wanna preserve my nice school ones for when I start all of that quarter 2!🤗

I was curious about this too! My LPN school required a navy top and white bottoms and white shoes. The ADN program was burgundy top with white bottoms. Then the BSN students were required to wear all white and as far as I've heard that is/was relatively common for a long time. So jealous you get to wear such pretty colored scrubs!

One question that hasn’t been answered yet, is do you need these things right away in your first year of studying Nursing ? Or only until you get to your senior year when you have clinical hours/rotation ?

Jacqueline Rojas I have used almost all of these things already in my first quarter and would have used the rest by second if covid didn’t cancel our clinicals. But if your school doesn’t do labs clinicals or sims until your senior year then it may be different for you than it was for me!

I’m from Denmark, and i find i kind of funny and awesome, that you buy your own scrubs! In Denmark, you have to buy the exact same as everybody else, it is NOT flattering og anyone, and not super comfortable😅 Oh and also, it’s White.. Which also means it’s kinda see through🙃

@@thesunnyedge When you're a student you have to buy your own (the white one), and then when you graduate and get a job at the hospital, they'll hand out uniforms which is basically the same as the ones you buy when you're a student. The only difference is, that you can't change from home, so you go to work in your own clothes and then change when you get there, and of course change back to your own clothes before you go home :-)

Sarah Collingwood I live in Colorado and it’s a 21 month program that goes through summers and we have 11 week quarters with 2 week breaks in between. It’s not LPN. I’m in their BSN program :)

But I’ll have to do the ASN to BSN right after I graduate, 18 mo program mostly online while I’m working my first job. Not thrilled but I’ve been told it’s not too bad.
