I was a Psychology student, and I struggled hugely when I started. I couldn't wrap my head around anything, I couldn't keep up with the demand, and I was stressed, exhausted, and tearful. I took a year out of education after a month, realising that whilst my programme is no walk in the park, I was not in a good place mentally and this was the reason I was falling out of love with my studies. My poor mental health was something I wasn't aware of at the time, but a year later when I returned to my studies... My love for Psychology was restored, I was getting good grades and I was feeling a whole lot better. I am not convinced that you really want to give this up. People don't make the decision to go into nursing lightly. I think you're just exhausted as you say, struggling mentally, and need a break. This is your sign. Nursing will be waiting for you.

It’s ok to be vulnerable. People need to see the real and raw. It’s not as easy as people make it seem. I can relate to this vlog so much, but chin up baby girl. You’ve got this. I was where you were not too long ago and now graduating in May. God has equipped you with EVERYTHING you need to get through it. This is not the end! Don’t you give up. That would bring them all the satisfaction to see you quit, but ain’t no quitting sis. Sending you all the virtual hugs

If it’s an accelerated program, my advice is take the nursing course one by one. That’s what I’m planning on doing. I’m currently in nursing school. I cried every day when I first started, I even thought I was gonna die. But so far I’m doing well.

I'm currently feeling like this at the moment and I'm retaking a class because I failed by 1% so instead of being done in December I'm done in March. But at least I get to still graduate in April. It is soooo exhausting, but it's going to be worth it in the end we just gotta keep pushing through.

Best advice take a break so you want to fail out of nursing, but one thing you will be a great nurse. What you are going through will make you an awesome instructor for the next nursing student. You got this!!❤❤

Stay strong, sis. You are strong, capable, and talented. We're going to make it. I'm planning to start a 2-year accelerated BSN in the summer. I also have a previous undergrad degree and wish I had done nursing first. I'm currently in a BSW program that I started in summer 2023 after graduating May of 2022. I'll be leaving the BSW after May to move on to nursing. I feel like I've been in school my whole life.

Hey love, I just wanted to say I loved this video. You can tell you want it badly, just keep going, you got this, don't worry about the parties and outside world you still have time . I'm 36 and was in the party scene when I was younger, and I wish i would have started my career earlier in age so I could be where I wanted to be. Mental wise go to a park or by some water(beach, shore,lake) play some good r&b music and just sit and relax. Find your "peaceful place" and take off running. It will be worth it in the end. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY

Hey girl, I just found your channel. I love the realness of this video because I haven’t started my accelerated nursing program yet but let me say this DO NOT GIVE UP, after seeing you cry.. I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU GRADUATE 👩🏽‍🎓! You’re going to look back and feel so good that you pushed through! It is definitely worth It. I’m 26, I wasted my life being turned while now my peers are purchaing homes, starting families, etc. you’ll always feel like you could be doing something else. Forget being young and turnt in your young years… you’ll be young and turned and paid for the rest of your life. Think ahead, be ahead. Work hard 🫶🏽. I needed to hear this very message for myself.

Nursing is hard and scary. I’m a CNA & start my classes in August. I can’t imagine how hard it will be for me, but I believe in us. You can keep pushing through this.

You can do this! God has you covered! It’s okay to cry and express your feelings. It shows that you’re human and experiencing different things. Maybe you could try find a counselor to help you process things. Wishing you well! ❤️ Also when you feel down play some Gospel music. Believe me it helps!!
