After watching the teaser, I feel the same happiness as when Khan Sahib's album was released exactly 35-40 years ago, we used to go to the market and buy the album. I would like Thanks Real World Records for once again resurrecting Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in our hearts and our emotions. ❤❤❤❤❤

His album with Michael Brook took me somewhere. I can still remember, headphone on, sitting in a computer chair with my feet up on the desk. One of those songs did something to me that no music had ever done or has done since.

Unfortunately i was 9 when Nusrat sb died and somehow I feel I connect to his music more than anything else. Thank you 'Real World Record' for bringing out this album. I am so excited to be present when a new Nusrat Sb album is being released.

the 1st time i listened to Nusrat`s voice was on the track "Passion" many years ago - an unbelievable musical experience to my ears - such a devotion, emotion - so much spirit.

My mother listened to Nusrat Saabs Qawalli when she was pregnant. I’m 28 years old now and Nusrat Saabs music has a special place in my heart. Very excited for this new album. Awakening of the Master ❤

@@abhilashattri2665 My parents had the good fortune of watching him at an intimate dinner party at a friend's home. He had told the hosts that he wouldn't sing, that he was just coming to visit but when everyone at the party insisted, a table and harmonium was found and he enthralled them with his voice. I wish I was around then, but grew up listening to Nusrat Sahab on cassettes and now I've preordered this album as well :)

Wow ! This must be part of the Shahbaaz recordings ! Cant wait ! Any never before released recordings of 1988 Shahenshah and 1993 Last Prophet albums. Release those too ! Wish Dum Mast Qalandar was on this tracklist. But amazing nonetheless.

saw Nusrat with his traditional ensemble and Zakir Hussain on tabla, at Symphony Space, NYC, November 1993 -- a transcendental concert beginning with an announcement request "no dancing on the stage" -- half the audience laughed. First half of the concert was Indian classical and ghazals, the second half was Qawwali -- within a minute the audience cheered the first dancer shimmying to the stage, bills in his hands.

I'm super excited , here is the but.. this video starts out with the analog master tapes, shelves of master tapes, reel-to-reel players, then we see pro-tools(or some other digital mastering tool) which leads me to believe its been digitized.. Why not just make this a magical all analog(AAA) mastering and if I've made the wrong conclusion, please share the secret sauce!
