Well the inquisition didnt rlly take notic, it was Leandros who ignored the Codex and simple Protocols. If you as a Astartes think one of your Brothers is corrupted then you need to report it to your chapters chaplain so it may be resolved internally. Leandros didnt do that and ignored the Codex, thats also the reason Calgar made him Chaplain so that if one Ultramarine in the 2nd Company gets corrupted its the Chaplains fault cause he couldnt keep them in check, so it will be his Honour tainted and i also think Leandros isnt allowed to participate in fights anymore

Titus is not a blank. he can interact with the warp not nullify it all together and most people like him, not something a blank can. Remember Guilliman once was shank by a athame blade (a chaos artifact that hurt horus so much he cannot be heal without chaos manipulation) but unlike horus he is able to resist it. its probably a rare ultramarine perk.

That's not how the chaos corruption work. Many fell victims to the influence unaware. I am still fully positive that Titus was unaware of his very low level blank mutation and made Space Marine. Thus why he still get hurt but cannot be corrupted add with his iron will and total selfless devotion to his chapter and brother. It's the only logical explanation and the one I enjoy the most, since there is no canon on this yet.

i am in favour of and lean towards a anti warp mutation or being blessed by the big E as you say the big E`s actions have been more pronounced recently and i think malem caido and titus and Guliman are direct results of blessed champions of man ! but i do also like the anti warp mutation that possible is a hint after the rubicon surgery his resistance seeeds weakend like how its easier to get sick after surgery when he nearly pass`s out by simple being near some chaos ! :P

@@YakubTheFather: that was the inquisition. Not by choice. Titus has been accused of corruption although the inquisitor involved had not found any. When the vaults of his torture chambers were cleared they found Titus and sentenced him to be a black shield. Because it’s better he die anonymous then be proved the inquisition was wrong.That they will torture loyal space marines for 100 years for no purpose. Titus regardless of his Insignia then served 150 years selflessly on suicide missions given to black shields where he literally died for the cause. The same cause that had outcast him. Had him tortured. Removed his name and rank and sentenced him to a namelessly ignominious dishonourable death. His time in the deathwatch is more the rotten dogma of the inquisition unable to apologies than Titus’ weakness or lack of devotion.

He choose to go black shield when he heard his “chapter abandon him” instead of still having faith in them. It’s not really how geneseed works, some traits can be passed on but only through specific organ implants that that particular geneseed was used to create. Since much of the time one gland is not enough to produce a full set of functional organs. It has to go through defect tests and samples have to be sent back to the gene stores. The other major issue is using geneseed from a different chapter and mixing the organs can be fatal or worse. Though there isn’t a lot on exactly how the geenseed can be combined and passed on in the lore, there do exist some chapters with “Chimeric Geneseed”. But those are generally normal geneseed stocks that have been tampered with genetically so the whole chapter resembles mutations. Any geneseed tampering is not tolerated and is met with deadly force. Usually only chaos marines mix geneseed since they steal it from loyal marines because their geneseed is messed up by chaos and becomes unusable. But that means they are just stealing marines from loyalists not continuing their own geneseed. namuwiki has a good section on geneseed but I’m not sure it’s all official.

I feel it could be the Emperor himself who helped Titus in space marine 1 and 2, when you think about it the chaos shared has been used to summon daemons or empowering their leaders. So it might be possible the emperor saw this and blessed someone like Titus to stop the warp. Similarly could be said to Malum Caedo in Boltgun (since that game takes place after space marine 1) where in that game the chaos shard is being used again. So in a way both Titus and Malum were blessed by the Emperor to stop the warp from opening.

Titus is the simple example of why a dangerous man is a good man and is absolutely resistant to evil because he is evil himself but chooses good, which makes him very dangerous. Evil doesn't fear a good man but does fear a monster especially is said so monster choose the side of good. When a man knows he isn't afraid to kill for those whom he loves but chooses only to do so when pushed to the brinks, he is far more evil than evil itself that chooses to destroy at will and far more of a good man than men who choose to be good but never would kill. And as such, the emperor of man blessed him with even more power to whistand evil because deep down Titus is far more evil than the warp itself but chooses good just like the emperor of man. And this I believe is the true story of Titus' ability to whistand evil because you only send monsters to destroy monsters and one chooses destruction and one chooses life but both are evil.

So it could have been another voice, Nemeroth, talking through Imurah
