Evolution of Space Marine Power Armors - 15 Types of Armors (Warhammer 40K)

So, we have just done a video on the 10 types of armors and warsuits worn by the space marines which included the dreadnoughts,terminator suits as well. But here in this video we will go through a crash course in the variants of space marine armors, more specifically the evolution of the 15 types of astartes power armor excluding the warsuits & walkers. We will start from the Mark 1 through the generations of mark 2 to 10 and after that we will take a look at the special armors worn by the grey knights, space wolves and the greatest of the astartes, like the champions, the chapter masters and notable veterans of the 1st companies as well as those worn by the tech marines.

The mark 10 Phobos, but with the tactics helmet of the standard 10, would look so cool. And the Phobos makes more sense for us as it's quiet. I bet the Resonable Marines, Raptors and Raven guards are using it the most.

The Mark X Phobos armour is BY FAR the best design and the most practical. GW should use that template as the way forward and move away from the ridiculous lower legs etc.

I like the Mark 10 Phobus variant way more than the other armors because of the streamlined design. The legs on the previous armors look way to bulky😅

I've always thought that the mk 10 Phobos pattern was the most realistic and practical of all the armors. The other variants always seemed unnecessarily bulky, especially the legs. The smaller shoulder pauldrons don't look like they would hinder movement.

Probos sacrifice sturdiness for speed since newer enemy like Tyranid and Necron can literally melted down or disintegrated matter directly. So couple with more stronger muscle bundle implants the primaries had then normal marine it better for them to dodge enemy attack rather then tanking it like the first born marine usually do.

The bulkiness comes with the fact that space marine dimensions not fit normal human ones

​​​​@@wiggy5209 Their proportions aren't that different from a jacked baseline human bodybuilder, just scaled up. There is no practical or physical reason for their legs, boots and shoulder pauldrons to be that huge. Look at a Custodian, they are even bigger than space Marines but their standard armor looks more like the Phobos pattern than the others.

Personally not a fan of Primaris armors in general. They don't feel right in 40k

Make a video on the best Artificer power armors. With Astartes, Inquisitors, Sisters of Battle, etc. included. Pretty much anyone human with a custom suit of power armor.

I like to think if it wasn't said that crossing the rubricon is one surgery and you're now a primaris but instead getting the new organs implanted one at a time mark 9 would have been the transitionary armour before they were given mark 10

Mark X phobos looks good, but it's too far from the original style in my opinion. It look as a random modern videogame suit. The gigantic shoulder paldrons and bulky legs are too distinctive parts to be updated so drastically.

The mark 1 thunder armor was used by the thunder warriors. While similar they werent astartes
