Nutella Rolls Recipe:
for the dough:
3 i 1/2 cup of flour,
25 g of fresh yeast or 7 g of dry yeast,
1/2 cup of sugar,
1 egg (room temperature)
50 g of butter, melted
1 cup of warm milk,
approx. 200 g of nutella
Mix the yeast with milk and a pinch of sugar, set aside for few minutes. When bubbly, add to the the rest of ingredients, besides butter. Knead for about 15 minutes or until smooth and elastic. After 7-10 minutes of kneading, gradually add butter. Cover with kitchen towel and let it sit somewhere warm for about 60 to 90 minutes.
On a well floured surface, roll out the risen dough into a rectangle (0.5 cm thick). Smear with nutella. Roll, creating a log and cut into 11-12 pieces. Arrange in a baking tray (25x35cm) and let them rise for additional 30-40 minutes. Bake in 180 C for about 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
