Nutrient Testing of Plants, Foods, and Soils | Nathan Harman, Regenerative Ag Consultant | Regen Rev

In his presentation from Regen Rev 2022, Nathan de-mystifies the options available for testing plant sap, soils, produce, and various aspects of microbiology relating to agriculture. Nathan provides relevant information to farmers who want to use data to guide the growth of top-notch crops, rebuild soil-life, and make a more valuable finished product. Many testing methodologies are covered, along with their relative cost, ease, and best uses.
Nathan Harman is a long-time consultant with AEA, residing in Indiana. He enjoys plumbing the depths of esoteric knowledge in order to pull up the relevant pieces that can help synthesize an actionable plan. He has worked with hundreds of far-flung farmers to solve (or at least shine new light on) a wild range of problems, whether they be rooted in production, market, profitability, or joy.
While not a data scientist by any means, Nathan has seen and used most every agricultural data-tool out there in his work and appreciates that one can create meaning from raw numbers.

I was the same kind of student. I had zeros in my classes. They couldn't even give me an F cause I never turned anything in lol. But I tested in the 85 percentile in our schools. I just hated sitting in class forever lol. Didn't meen I wasn't listening!
