I'm seeing their is a huge difference between UCLA and UCSF on what food restrictions are after surgery? Pakeezah I too am "Confused"? We can not see a Nutritionist for 5 weeks? What does 1 do when they are on a very Restricted Diet No Potassium, No Sugar? Who does 1 turn too?

It says you MAY need to restrict potassium. Is your potassium lab high, then yes restrict. Avoid sweets not natural sugar.

@@kmacca5342 yes Potassium is high. They now give him an RX to lower it.

But, the dietician allowed me to eat Brie cheese in the hospital days after my new transplant. I’m confused. : /
