Only thing I still have trouble with (been on TRT/200mgs of Test E for a while now) is alcohol. I don't drink nearly as much as a used to but I still drink 1-2 glasses of low ABV sweet red wine on weeknights with dinner. It doesn't seem to affect me at all. I might get an ever so slight buzz around dinner but it's gone by bedtime and wake up feeling good and fresh every morning (also drink a lot of water and specifically drink water before falling asleep). Also drink a 6 pack or so on Fridays and Saturdays. This is usually Miller Lite, sometimes harder stuff, just depends on what I'm doing. I follow just about every other suggestion from Steve here already (been lifting and dieting/cooking/tracking for over a decade). The main rule of thumb that I follow is cook raw, fresh ingredients and stick to that. If you stick to fresh/raw ingredients you almost can't go wrong, just be careful adding too much butter/oil to dishes (1 tbsp is 100kcals and can add up real quick in that pan you're cooking in). Also, another old pro-tip is to weight everything so you actually know what you're getting and tracking accurately. It's really easy and cheap to go buy a food scale and once you get used to reading nutritional labels it will become quick and easy to figure out exactly how much of something you are eating. It's really basic math. Another protip is that when it comes to carbs and sugars, stick with rice or potatoes for main carb source and fresh fruit for simple sugars. Try and avoid much else. I still have bread regularly but keep it down to 1-2 slices a day, if at all.

If I do not eat processed foods/starches, make sure I hit my protein requirements, and make sure I hit 35-40g dietary fiber, literally everything else easily falls into place with macros/micros without even trying.
