This is so helpful!!! I have never been to Costco, Trader Joe's or Sprouts because they are farther than ideal from us, but we shop at Aldi often!!! I was so tickled to recognize quite a few items we regularly buy in your video, including, perfect bars, the fruit juice, chicken sausage, irish cheese, kombucha, etc. Also, I really needed to hear that "when we chase perfection, we always set ourselves up for failure because perfection does not exist." Very, very good reminder!!! 💖 Thank you so much for this video!

Oh Deborah I love that, so glad this was helpful and I love that you already buy a lot of these items! Any new ones you'll try?!

@@MollieMason Ooo, probably some of the gluten free options you mentioned, the Solely dried mango, and the pasta -- haven't ever really looked at those items at Aldi's, but it's great to know they exist! Also, the coconut crisps looked amazing. 😍

I’m a fellow nutritionist and a Whole Foods, TJs, & Costco girl, but this video was eye opening even for me. Thank you for the reminder that we can find options everywhere if we try and being realistic is important. Reading labels is key! 🔑 ❤

Yes amen! I was pleasantly surprised at the great options I found. We can nourish our bodies with goodness anywhere if we're just diligent to do some work on the front end reading ingredients 🤩

Organic Italian style meatballs with sauce made with grass fed beef. We like their grass fed ground beef better than Trader Joe's. Grass fed steaks. Organic free range chicken breasts. Different brand than what you showed. Produce varies. Some organic options are gems-- like spinach, zuchini, peppers. Organic frozen and canned veggies. Their juice shots are our favs too.

I only shop at Whole Foods and buy only organic. But their prices are very high! Very high! And I just buy strictly bare necessities. But their foods are fresh. They have a fast turn over. You just can’t beat them on quality. In my opinion.

What do you use flaxseed for and do you recommend them? I used to use them to make a flax egg or put them in green smoothies. Are they considered low pufa if we grind them ourselves? I remember reading that they help flush excess estrogen out. ❤

This was my first and last of your videos. I was slightly offended by your tone implicating Aldi was for “ poor people “. Just my impression
@MollieMason Жыл бұрын
Oh man Gwenyth, I’m really sorry to hear you got that messaging because it was definitely not my intention. One of the biggest complaints I hear as a nutritionist is that healthy food is too expensive so the goal was to show more affordable healthy options at a more budget-friendly grocery store. I know most wellness content makes you think you can’t eat healthy if you don’t spend thousands of dollars a month at Whole Foods, but you can feed your body well on any budget so my intention was to empower everyone in that. I hope if you watch any of my other videos you’ll see that 💛 but I appreciate you raising my awareness to that sensitivity.
@-living4jesus4ever- Жыл бұрын
Mollie, you are the sweetest. People who really know you know this was not your intention whatsoever. Who doesn’t love to save money?!-that’s why Dave Ramsey is so popular! 😊Some people take offense at anything these days when they need to lighten up and remember it’s not all about ourselves. You can’t appease everyone so keep shining with joy! 💫🌟@@MollieMason
