50yrs old here. My 1st time watching AIC live was in 1991 they opened up for Van Halen. It was an amazing opening. The stadium was basically empty with the Van Halen fans tailgating. Looking back i am so happy i was in attendance that day. Little did most of those people know this was the beginning of something real special. This rendition was amazing. Keep up the great work, you have a new subscriber just from this alone.

As a 90's kid, this is probably all time top 3 favorite songs. I love that a young woman made it her own in 2024/2025 and with looping for complexity. Lane Staley had a voice that made you feel every note and AIC had a sound that fit their core so well. The MTV acoustic version of this entire set as well as Nutshell is still some of the best music ever performed. Kudos to you young musician for tackling this and many more. Subscribed.

I started my life over again 16 years ago. I was 50 and a half years old when I encountered a motorcycle crash on the highway coming home from work and wasn't wearing a helmet. My traumatic brain injury out of ICU was the beginning. Wearing diapers and maneuvering in a wheelchair. Nutshell was my daily Anthem from Alice in Chains. After seven years, I was able to purchase a new 2015 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide motorcycle, like my last was. Nutshell played by Alice in Chains, Nicole Alexis or on my own guitar is quite the path of life. Miss Nicole, stay safe and healthy. Inspiring my own mind, you gave me a positive. Happy Holidays 😊

I've watched / heard a lot of covers of this song, but this one really hits different. The lead in is different (in a very good way), but as soon as I heard your voice, I got chills. This is simply fantastic. As a huge AIC fan (and grunge in general), this is one of my absolute favorite songs. It's been said that this song is like a man singing at his own funeral. I've felt for years that several of AIC's songs were kind of a dark description of Layne's descent and a eulogy of sorts that essentially foretold his death. His death was one of the greatest losses ever in the world of music.
